The movement of referee below senior internationals is growing. South Africa has had referees at Craven Week and in the August Under-18 internationals from Italy, Scotland and Wales, and South African Divan Uys of the Western Province Referees' Society has been the first South African abroad in this way.
Aimee in New Zealand
Aimee Barrett-Theron is back home after her intercontinental refereeing. In the last two months, she has refereed in California (two Tests), Johannesburg, Cape Town and, just last Saturday, Auckland, New Zealand. She is home again and tells us of her Eden Park experience.
